If you’re wondering who said these words and how he/she said it, then you have to watch the video that took the Facebook by storm. This 2-minute-19-second video was uploaded by Jonah Anjela Rivero Flores on Facebook yesterday after she witnessed the surprise third anniversary gift of a guy to his girlfriend. In the clip, a guy is singing Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko accompanied by a man playing guitar to surprise her girlfriend in Mendiola, Manila, complete with banner as the guy’s background. According to Flores, it was her first time to witness such a surprise. She also said in the video description that it was the guy’s first time to give his girlfriend bouquet of flowers, as also heard on the video. Flores added, “Naiyak at kinilig kami ni mommy habang nanunood. Inggit much talaga.” Indeed, Flores and her mom’s reactions can be clearly heard on the video. The man continues to sing and when his girlfriend approached him, he greeted her “Hi baby! Happy third anniversary.” “Sa lahat ng lalaki, gusto ko ipaalala niyo sa mga girlfriends niyo, na walang babaeng maliit kung ipagmamalaki niyo,” added by him. Though, the surprise was well-prepared, there’s still a mishap. The party popper did not worked. He ended by saying his gratitude to all the person who supported him and his message to her girlfriend, “Salamat po sa lahat ng nandito para makita po yung mahal ko and I’m so proud of her and gusto ko lang sabihin na ikaw yung pinaka-best na gift na na-receive ko sa buong buhay ko. Gusto ko lang sabihin na, maraming nagsasabing walang forever pero ako yung magpapatunay dun. Salamat.” In just overnight, this clip gathered 931 likes and 367 shares, as of writing, and also reached those people who knew the guy. In one comment, someone tagged the name of Rash Mejorada. Rash Mejorada, an Adamson University student, was the guy in the clip who planned all this surprise for her girlfriend Janzen Saliente, a San Beda College student. According to Mejorada’s post on Facebook, he started planning the surprise to her girlfriend last Tuesday and talked to his friends as well as her girlfriend’s friends about it. Days passed until September 22 came, the day before their anniversary. He started to do the banner, finalizing some stuffs and kept on reminding their friends. He was also praying for a good weather, there’s no activity in front of Mendiola gate, he will see the man playing guitar in the LRT to ask for alms, and his surprise to not fail. He added, “September 23, it's NOW OR NEVER DAY! PRAISE GOD dahil natupad lahat ng prayers ko. Pagbaba ko ng LRT Legarda, sarado mendiola gate, sobrang ganda ng panahon at lahat ng gagawin ko sobrang naging maayos. Feeling ko lalaglag na yung puso ko sa sobrang kaba. Exactly 3:38PM, eto na nangyari...”
