Every now and then,a certain hairstyle gets popular, and everyone goes to the salon or the barber to have their hair styled like that. In the US, girls went crazy for Jennifer Aniston’s hairstyle in the series Friends, and went to their hairdresser and demanded they get a “Rachel,” the name of Aniston’s character in the series. In the Philippines, the “Wowie” became popular (as tribute to the popular 90′s actor Wowie de Guzman), where hair is parted in the middle like an upside-down V. These days, the “Vice” seems to be in: a full set of hair in the middle and shaved at the side.
But a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player is set to change that. Ogie Menor, the shooting guard for the Blackwater Elite, sported this unique haircut after a trip to the barber. His horoscope might have said to try something new today, because he looks different. Really different.
