Their sweet photos have been circulating in social media lately. Several pages uploaded it with very limited information about the identities of the subjects.
On June 18, satirical site Pinoytrending.altervista.com created a story that they actually met because of the phenomenal game Clash of Clans or COC. This is where "COC couple" came from.
On Saturday night, we contacted the girl and conducted an interview to know their real love story.
The girl in the photo is Althea Beruya Ronquillo. She is currently in relationship with Pat Esconde Patricio which is the guy in the photo.
Althea told Social Trends PH that she is not playing COC at all as well as her boyfriend so it is impossible for them to have met because of this game.
How their love story starts?
She said they used to be workmates in Makati. Their friends at work tease them at first and she tried to play it by playfully asking Pat to accompany her at their house in Taguig. His prince charming didn't refuse to do it with all of his heart.
Pat patiently accompany her in going home from Makati to their house in Taguig before going home in Alabang. Pat did this everyday at the end of their shifts early in the morning(4 am). Althea said that she was amazed by the effort of this man until April 28, 2015, Pat texted her "Sana akin ka nalang". Althea said she replied "Oo". That is where their relationship started.
Do they have a baby?
A lot of people were asking if they already have a baby as what we can see in both of their timelines. According to Althea, that is her baby brother.
