One viral video has currently more than 1 million views was uploaded by Facebook userLito Sambrano Riotita. It was uploaded on Saturday, June 20 and in less than 24 hours, it gained more than sixty thousand shares on Facebook.
In it, he asked his friends to watch the video how he removed the microchip on his S3 Samsung phone. He claimed that this chip will automatically upload your information online without user's knowledge.

Truth about the this hidden microchip
Based on our research, we found out that this is a Near Field Communication or NFC chip. According to Wikipedia, this is set of ideas and technology that enables smartphones and other devices to establish radio communication with each other by touching the devices together or bringing them into proximity to a distance of typically 10 cm (3.9 in) or less.
According to Techradar, this chip is also used in tap-and-go services like Apple Pay,Google Wallet and Amiibo.
We tried to reach Samsung Philippines regarding this issue. They are yet to give their statements about this chip.
